Logging in to your irace account is a straightforward process that takes only a few seconds. However, there are a few important things worth knowing to ensure your login experience always runs smoothly and securely.
To log in, you will need the username or email address used during registration, along with your account password. Both pieces of information are confidential and should not be shared with anyone, including irace staff. The irace support team will never ask for your password under any circumstances.
Irace Login Security
Irace uses multiple layers of protection to keep your account secure at all times. All connections to the platform are encrypted using SSL 256-bit — the same standard used by banking institutions in Malaysia. This means every piece of information you submit during login cannot be intercepted or stolen by third parties.
Additionally, irace's security system automatically detects suspicious login attempts and will temporarily block access if repeated failed attempts occur. This protects your account from unauthorized access via brute force attacks.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Irace supports two-factor authentication (2FA) for all member accounts. When 2FA is enabled, every login attempt will require an OTP code sent to your registered phone number as an additional security layer. We recommend all members enable 2FA through their account settings for maximum protection.
Security Tip: Always log out of your irace account when using a shared device or public computer. Do not save your password in the browser on any device accessible by others.
Common Login Issues
- Forgot password — Use the "Forgot password" function on the login page to receive a reset link via your registered email.
- Forgot username — Check your registration email for account details, or contact irace support via live chat.
- Account Temporarily Locked — Usually caused by repeated failed password attempts. Wait 30 minutes or contact support to unlock your account.
- Not receiving 2FA OTP — Make sure your phone has a good signal. OTPs typically arrive within 60 seconds. You can request a resend if it has not been received.
- Page failed to load — Try clearing your browser cache or use incognito mode. If the issue persists, try a different browser.
Login via Mobile App
The most convenient and fastest login experience is through the irace mobile app. The irace Android and iOS app supports login via fingerprint or Face ID for quicker access without typing your password every time. Download the app from the irace download page and enable biometric features in the app settings.
Once logged in via the app, your session stays active as long as you do not manually log out — making it quick and easy to access next time without going through the login process again. However, we still recommend enabling biometric login as an added layer of security.
